HI EVERYONE !!! LET'S READ

During 4rd week of class, I came early as usual. I feel very energetic today because I get an enough rest and sleep yesterday. I took a breakfast with my friends while waiting for Madam Fitriah.
Today lesson is continue with the last week topic. Madam Fitriah teach us about Taba’s Model. Taba’s model is the most suitable for language program. The idea is from Tyler model but they improvise to be more effective. Taba was introduce to “Progressive education” idea. She want teacher to be more versatile like students centered method. Besides, Taba’s model also known as “Grass-roots approach”, taba believe curriculum should be develop from lower not from top. For example, teacher is the one who should develop the education structure not the government because teacher is the person who really know their students ability. In other words, taba’s model used inductive method which means specific to general. Furthermore, there are 7 steps of taba’s model which are, diagnosis of need, selection of objective, selection of content, organization of content, selection of learning experiences, organization of learning experiences and the last on is determining of what to evaluate and how to evaluate it. However, taba’s model also have the weaknesses. The weaknesses is teacher’s ability to create or select materials appropriate to learns expressed needs and its require skill, time and resources.

In conclusion, i have learn that every method can be used as long as it suit with the situation and after the lesson I realize that, the element in the lesson plan already be used in so many years ago and its helps a lot to the teacher now days to plan their lesson plan.
