Week 9

During week 7, we learn about the instruction objectives.

The purpose of objective is Defining the intents of an educational plan, helping teachers to plan steps necessary to achieve plan, and Helping students to know what is expected of them at the end of the program. Besides, Bloom taxonomy also help a lot for teacher to evaluate according to the students level. 

Objectives must be observable and measurable. Robert Mager (1962) suggested that objectives of learning need to be specific in term of:

1.      Student behavior - For example, at the end of lesson, student can identify…….

2.      Testing situation- For example, test the student with given a blank word map student should be able to locate the 5-active vocabulary.

3.      Performance criteria - How long it takes for student.

bloom taxonomy is a guideline for teacher to create a lesson plan, exam questions and many more. i have learn how to make a objective effectively and to ensure my objective are achieved.
